Metamorphoses?

In recent years, and in many of my works, I have been emphasizing intuition as a predominant means of creation. For that, I allow myself to sense rather than plan. Such is the case with these drawings. They are made at a moment of the day when I need to calibrate myself. So I slow down and give myself a moment to sense my inner landscape, intuit what pulls me, and draw it. Whether the drawings reach a pleasing outcome or not is not the aim. I accept either way. But I draw them, adding layers if necessary, until I reach a stopping point.
Their title is “Metamorphoses?” and they are made by burning palo santo, allowing the texture of the burning wood to determine the line and color of the drawings.
